We use cookies for analytics and advertising, and we collect an email address if you join the waitlist. This page says exactly what that means, who receives the data, and how to stop it.
It applies to eburndevices.com. Last updated 4 September 2026. Plain English throughout — if anything here is unclear, email us and a person will answer.
Who we are
This site is operated by Green Lion Innovations ("we", "us"), 1312 17th St #652, Denver, CO 80202, United States. Reach us at mike@greenlioninnovations.com — that address is also how you exercise any right described below.
What we collect
If you join the waitlist
You give us your email address, and optionally your first name and what you plan to use the device for. Both optional fields exist so we can send you something relevant rather than one generic blast. We use this to email you about the launch and early access — nothing else. We don't sell it, rent it, or share it for anyone else's marketing.
Every email has an unsubscribe link. It's instant, permanent, and you don't have to give a reason.
Analytics and advertising
We advertise, so we measure whether the advertising works. When cookies are active we use:
- Google Analytics 4 — pages viewed, roughly where you came from, whether you joined the waitlist. Aggregate behaviour, not a dossier on you.
- Google Ads — so we can tell that an ad you clicked led to a signup.
- Meta Pixel — the same thing for ads on Facebook and Instagram, and to show ads to people who've visited.
These set cookies and share your IP address, browser details and on-site actions with Google and Meta, who process it under their own policies (Google, Meta). We never send them your email address.
Counting page views without cookies
Separately from any of the above, we count page views using Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. Vercel is the company that hosts this site — the same company named under “Server logs” below. It works differently enough from an ordinary tracker to be worth describing on its own:
- It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. No cookie, no local storage, nothing — not before you choose, not after. You can confirm that in your browser's developer tools.
- The script comes from this website, not from another company's servers. Each page view sends one message: the page you're on, the site you arrived from if it wasn't ours, a timestamp, and your approximate location, device type and browser version.
- It cannot follow you anywhere. Return visits within a day are matched using a value Vercel derives from the request itself and discards after 24 hours. No identifier survives that, so nothing here can be linked to you, to another website, or to your next visit.
Because it stores nothing on your device, this doesn't need a cookie banner, and it runs on arrival everywhere — including the UK and the EEA. Our lawful basis there is legitimate interest: knowing which pages people actually read, and whether they load fast enough to be usable. It still stops if you say no. Global Privacy Control and the opt-out button below switch it off along with everything else. Speed Insights measures loading speed and responsiveness only, and collects nothing about you at all.
Where you came from
If you arrive from an ad, the link carries campaign tags (utm_source, utm_campaign) and sometimes a click ID from Google or Meta. We keep those for your visit and attach them to your waitlist signup, so we know which ad worked. Stored in your browser for the session only.
Server logs
Our host, Vercel, keeps standard technical logs — IP address, browser type, page requested — as every web server does. They keep the site running and secure. We don't build profiles from them.
Your cookie choice
Your browser stores one small value locally recording your cookie choice, so we don't ask you again on every page. It stays on your device, contains no personal information, and is never sent anywhere.
Your choices — and they differ by where you are
We'd rather be straight about this than pretend otherwise.
In the United States and most of the world
Analytics and advertising cookies load when you arrive. US privacy law works on an opt-out basis, so that's lawful — but you can opt out at any time:
- Use the button below. It takes effect immediately, we remember it on this device, and it covers everything on this page — including the cookieless page count.
- Turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser or an extension. We honour it automatically, everywhere, and in California, Colorado and Connecticut it's legally binding on us. If it's on, nothing loads and you'll never see a banner.
In the UK and the European Economic Area
No cookie is set, and no third-party tag loads, until you say yes. You'll get a banner on arrival, and until you choose Accept, no analytics or advertising cookie is set and no third-party tag is loaded. Choose Reject and nothing loads at all — including the cookieless page count described above, which is the one thing that would otherwise run before you answer. You can change your mind by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Who handles your email, and why it's worth explaining
We want this stated plainly rather than buried.
The waitlist runs on Klaviyo, an email marketing platform. When you submit the form, your browser sends the details directly to Klaviyo. The Klaviyo account holding that list is operated by Zipline Innovations LLC (dba Dip Devices) — a company affiliated with Green Lion Innovations and run by the same people, though it is a separate legal entity. Green Lion Innovations uses that list to send you the launch email described above.
So plainly: your email sits in Klaviyo's systems, in an account belonging to Zipline Innovations LLC, and Green Lion Innovations uses it to tell you when the device is ready. Neither company uses it for anything else. Klaviyo processes it on our behalf under its own privacy notice and is US-based, so if you're outside the US your details are stored there.
One waitlist across our sites. Green Lion Innovations runs a single Klaviyo waitlist that also serves its other product site. If you sign up on either, your email lands in the same list, tagged with which site it came from so we only email you about what you asked about. We're telling you because it means your address may sit alongside sign-ups from our other site — not with any third party.
How long we keep it
Your email stays until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. If the waitlist is retired, we delete the list rather than repurpose it. Analytics data follows Google's and Meta's own retention periods.
Your rights
Wherever you live: ask us what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it. Email mike@greenlioninnovations.com and we'll do it.
If you're in the UK or EEA, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and you can withdraw consent at any time (withdrawal doesn't undo what we did beforehand). Our basis for the launch emails is your consent, given when you joined; our basis for analytics and advertising cookies is the consent you give on the banner. You can complain to your national data protection authority.
If you're in California, you can know what we collect, request deletion or correction, opt out, and not be treated differently for it. We don't sell personal information for money. Advertising cookies can count as "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising under the CPRA — so we enable Meta's Limited Data Use for US traffic, we honour Global Privacy Control, and the opt-out button above stops it.
Children
This site is for adults of legal age (21+) and is not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a minor has given us their email, tell us and we'll delete it.
Links to other sites
When you leave — for example to our external store — you're on someone else's property under their privacy policy, not this one. Worth a read.
Changes
If we start collecting something new, we update this page and its date before we do it. Material changes to how we use your email get emailed to you.
